On June 9th, 2007, the Canton of Tanwayour invites all and sundry to join us in celebrating our founding and our founding father, Baron Talanque.

Sweetwater Summit Park
6135 San Miguel Road
Bonita, California 91902

The site opens at 8 AM on June 9th. The site closes at 6PM. The gate fee is $2 for members and $5 for non-members. The event sponsor is Canton of Tanwayour. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc/Canton of Tanwayour.

There will be fighting, food and friends. I shall also invite frenzy, I'm sure, but I will try to keep him to meself.

There is a feast after the tourney. The feast is $7 and will feature yet another amazing creation by one of our own favorite cooks, Dragon. Maggie and Eblenn will probably get their fingers in it, too.

If there is interest, we will have the traditional memorial. Please e-mail the autocrat with your memorial.

To get to the site:
From the north or south take I805 to an eastward direction on Bonita Rd./E Street. Follow Bonita Road for several miles. Bonita Road will take a sharp left and San Miguel goes straight at a light. If you don't pay attention, you'll get there. The park will be on the left down a ways. Heads up, lots of highway construction in the area for the new section of 125 south. I'm still trying to figure out where that's supposed to be going.

From the east take 125 S exit to Briarwood Road South. Briarwood ends at Sweetwater Road where you take a left. Then a right at the light for Bonita Road. Next, a left on San Miguel Road where Bonita goes to the right. You cannot do Sweetwater Road at this time, it's still "missing in action" at the 125.

From the west, either of the above will do, depending how far west and north you are.
